  • Workers Comp / Auto Liability / Slip and Fall / Medical Malpractice:
These assignments involve the general scenario where a subject or claimant has been injured due to an auto accident, an accident at work, a slip and fall accident at an establishment or place of business or alleged malpractice on the part of a physician. Our goal in these cases is to document the subject/claimant in their natural environment. In other words to document the way they would act normally without knowing they are under surveillance. The years of surveillance experience in the field our investigators have allow us to accomplish this objective. The results of these cases will allow our clients to view an individual’s general range of motion and activities so that they may compare them with their alleged injuries or losses. We attempt to videotape the subject at every moment possible providing an unbiased documentation of their activities. We take pride in the honesty of our investigations and view ourselves as a neutral party. We are not trying to “catch” the claimant/subject doing something contrary to their claim. If an individual has exaggerated the extent of their injuries, the videotape will tell if the real story differs from their alleged claims or losses.
  • Employee No-Compete Contract Violation Investigations
These assignments involve a general scenario where an employee who has signed a no-compete contract, starts their own business and is suspected to have violated their no compete contract by stealing their former employer’s clients. Surveillance of these individuals in their natural environment will reveal whether they have violated their no compete contract as our investigators document each address they visit and videotape their general work activities throughout their work day. These investigations have proved especially successful for pest control and other service related businesses where workers visit the location of their customers.
  • Employee Work Integrity Verification Investigations
Do you have an employee who works on their own under no supervision, perhaps a sales representative or service provider. Do you wonder if they are doing their job, working a full day, giving their job 100% or are they loafing on your time and money? Surveillance from the individual’s home in the early morning to the middle or end of their workday can reveal if they are really doing their job. By documenting their activities in their natural environment we can help you determine if you have a quality employee who is actually doing their job or someone who is doing just enough not to get fired.
  • Medical Clinic / Doctor Office Surveillance
These investigations involve continuous videotape surveillance on a doctor’s office or medical clinic to document individuals who come and go from the facility. Personal Identification shots are taken of each person coming and going from the office; further, their vehicle tags are retrieved/ran and included in the report along with details as to when they arrive and depart. We are able to complete these surveillances with one stationary investigator operating continuous videotape (with the help of a state of the art self contained air conditioning unit), assisted by a second investigator who assists in retrieving the PID shots and vehicle tags. These investigations can reveal how long patients are actually at the office, which can be compared with what may be listed on the doctor’s bill or determine if the patients were even there on a given day.
  • Difficult/Complex Surveillance Assignments
Our investigators have experience in doing surveillance on subjects/claimants who are aware that they have been under surveillance before (perhaps having caught another investigator), have been coached by their plaintiff’s attorney and or are experienced in the claims process and or have a knowledge of how surveillance is done. We have experience in doing surveillance on individuals such as: Police Officers, Undercover Detectives, State Troopers, Private Investigators, Judges and Attorneys. These assignments require a mandatory two-man surveillance consisting of two investigators in separate vehicles with radio contact. The second investigator is billed at $35 an hour, rather than double the hourly rate or package rate for each day. It is imperative that you inform us of the circumstances involving these types of surveillances before we begin the investigation for the surveillance to be successful.
  • What Makes A Successful Surveillance?
How and when surveillance is requested can help lead to positive surveillance results. The main advantage an investigator has on his side is the “element of surprise”. In other words the claimant/subject has no idea what day they may be under surveillance. In accident cases this can mean that early surveillance requests after the date of loss, will yield positive results. Requesting surveillance on or near the day of a deposition or doctors appointment can show a contrast on videotape after an individual has been deposed; however, they also have the case on their mind and could be on the lookout for investigators.

We find that we have a 99% video success rate on 2 and 3 day surveillance assignments. The first day our investigators will use to determine the individual’s pattern or schedule. The second and or third day is used to do surveillance when the individual is most likely to be active (or out in the open), or the opportunity to obtain video results is greatest. For example: if your claimant/subject has a 9-5 / 5 day a week indoor work schedule where there is no video opportunity, surveillance would be initiated on an evening (leaving work) and or a weekend.

A great investigator can help yield positive surveillance results; however, how surveillance is used as a tool by our clients (who you order surveillance on and when) is just as important.
  • Subject/Witness Locates
Our investigators will begin their investigation by attempting to locate the individual over the telephone and through database searches, in an effort to keep costs low. Next, they will begin an old fashioned investigation by visiting addresses associated to the individual, knocking on doors and speaking with persons to determine where the individual is currently physically residing. When the individual is found, their current information will be forwarded to you immediately, followed by a complete Investigative Report. When all investigative leads are exhausted, if we still have not found the individual, we will have another vendor attempt to find them as well. If they cannot find them, the case will be closed out and you will be provided with a detailed report listing everything that was done by the investigator to locate the individual. These investigations are successful in locating general persons such as Insured’s, Claimant’s or Witnesses and differ from missing person investigations.
  • Accident Scene Investigations
These assignments involve photographing the scene to an accident from every possible angle. Our investigators use high quality digital cameras and the photos are returned on 8.5 x 11 glossy photo paper, so that every detail of the scene can be clearly seen. The photos also include the case/accident information on each page. Our investigators can also attempt to locate any possible witnesses to the accident by request. Videotaped scene investigations are also available; further, our investigators have experience in videotaping the scene of a slip and fall accident covertly with hidden cameras inside a store or business that is open to the public, in an effort to document any remaining circumstances that may have contributed to the accident occurring.
  • Accident or Incident Statements
Our investigators will obtain a detailed recorded statement from individuals to traffic accidents or other incidents, so that all details are covered from the individual’s perspective. In the process we will obtain identifying information from the individual so that they can be located later if they should move or relocate. Besides accident statements where we would naturally cover Time, Speed and Distance details, we suggest that you inform us of any specific details you are looking for so that any out of the ordinary specifics are covered in the statement. Our recorded statements are then transcribed by professionals and then reviewed by the investigator personally; further, we can arrange to have the transcribed statement signed by the individual and notarized as well if necessary. If you would like to see our general statement outline please contact our office.
  • Criminal/Civil Records Searches & Document Retrieval
We begin these investigations by running a “National Comprehensive Report” to determine where the subject has lived within the past 10 years. Next we would search these Counties/Areas/States on Federal, State and County levels in an effort to uncover any possible records available, report back to you and determine what documents you might need retrieved certified or not. These investigations can be customized to fit the needs of your request as searches can be made in a general or specific nature.
